Dear Dan,
My name is Ted Wiley and I’ve written an action thriller called “Radius” that I'd like to send your way. Another script of mine just won the Los Angeles Screenwriting contest.
“Radius” is written along the lines of films such as “Erased” and “Taken.” The story is about an injured marine in Afghanistan named Jonathan who’s just a few days from returning home to his family when a CIA leak confirms that a nuclear attack is imminent. With all of the flights out of the country booked, and no new ones allowed in because of the threat, Jonathan must find some other way to get out of the city. His only option is to hitch a car ride with his Afghan interpreter friend Behnam and his wife and his daughter. But when a radical shoots Behnam and his wife in an attempt to commandeer their truck, Jonathan’s saddled with the responsibility of bringing Behnam’s daughter to safety. Now, in a city ruled by fear and panic, Jonathan has just two hours to get out of the fallout radius...or they’ll both face certain death.
I believe the riveting suspense and high stakes in “Radius” will appeal to a very wide audience. Please let me know if I can send you the script, and thanks for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Ted Wiley

Dear Jocelyn,
My name is Hillary Smith and I’ve written a pilot for a TV series called “Proof of Innocence” that I’d like to send your way. Another teleplay I wrote just won the New York Script contest.
“Proof of Innocence” is written along the lines of shows such as “Cold Case” and “Law and Order.” The series is about a brilliant attorney named Melanie who recently gave up her partnership at a top legal defense firm to represent death row inmates. In the pilot, Melanie’s approached by a retired cop named Walter Morales who’s plagued by a case he worked on as a rookie. So sure of defendant DeShawn Williams’ guilt at the time, Walter didn’t raise any objections when his colleagues gave false testimonies at trial. With new evidence having just come to light, however, Walter needs Melanie’s help to clear the man he now knows is truly innocent. The problem is, Melanie only has 7 days to convince the judge that a new trial must be declared…
I believe the gripping storylines, high stakes and dynamic characters in “Proof of Innocence” will appeal to a very wide audience. Please let me know if I can send you the pilot, and thanks for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Hillary Smith
